Instrument Lessons with City Sounds Studio for ages 5 +
City Sound Studios offer one-to-one and group music classes in Guitar, Ukulele, and Drums for children aged 5 and above, welcoming complete beginners through to more advanced students.
Our multi-sensory maths sessions are designed to make early maths fun, engaging, and meaningful for young children. Instead of worksheets, children learn through play using movement, music, hands-on activities, and everyday objects.
Each session combines:
Songs and rhymes to build number confidence and memory
Hands-on activities like counting, sorting, and building
Movement and games to support active learning
Visual and creative play to explore patterns, shapes, and problem-solving
This approach helps children develop a deep understanding of maths (known as “mastery”) by exploring concepts in different ways. It also supports confidence, communication, and a positive attitude towards learning.
Sessions are age-appropriate, inclusive, and designed to support all learners—from toddlers exploring early counting to older children beginning simple addition and problem-solving.
Our goal is simple: to help children see maths as something they can enjoy, understand, and use every day.
