Overview
Join Sophie for her weekly crochet session.
Children of all abilities are welcome to join, whether they have never picked up a hook, or got hooked before and would like support to develop their skills, this is the session for them.
Skills taught include;
- Slipknots, chains and turning chains
- Double crochet, treble crochet and half treble crochet stitches
- Using more than 1 colour
- Joining and finishing your work
Left or right handed, everyone is welcome.
Crafting is a fantastic way for children (and adults) to develop resilience and confidence while learning a new skill. Alongside this, children will be able to explore their own creativity using the skills they've learnt, combining stitches and colours.
