Home Education Crochet with West Plum Studio for ages 6-16
Overview
Join Sophie for a 7 week introduction into the wonderful world of crochet.
Across the 7 weeks Sophie will guide children on how to get started with this versatile craft, building on the skills they learn week after week. Children will learn:
- Slipknots, chains and turning chains
- Double crochet, treble crochet and half treble crochet stitches
- Using more than 1 colour
- Joining and finishing your work
Left or right handed, everyone is welcome.
Crafting is a fantastic way for children (and adults) to develop resilience and confidence while learning a new skill. Alongside this, children will be able to explore their own creativity using the skills they've learnt, combining stitches and colours.
