Home Education - Macrame for ages 8-14
Overview
In this fun and creative Design & Technology workshop, children will learn basic macramé techniques to create their own colourful rainbow keyring.
Using cotton rope, yarn and simple knotting methods, children will develop practical making skills, explore different materials, and personalise their design with their choice of colours.
The workshop encourages creativity, fine motor development and confidence in following a design process from start to finish.
Each child will leave with a completed rainbow keyring (or 2) and a new handmade craft skill to take home.
