My final project was about myths. I used lino printing create a print of Lupa the Queen of Rome. I was inspired to do this piece by the Roman legend of Romulus and Remus. This myths tells you about two boys cast adrist from their home and raised by the she wolf goddess Lupa who is sometimes called the Queen of Rome until Rome went from a Kingdom to an empire after the death of Tarquinius Superbus or Tarquin the Proud. I chose Lino Print because it gives me great satisfaction peeling away the lino and seeing the ink on the page.Â
